Who’s Your King?

I love great stories and great writing.  Both Ruth and Esther are exquisitely written stories, and all the more powerful because they are true. Every now and then, I am going to post from an older series on Esther.  The story opens with Xerxes is a powerful king who has everyone under his thumb, but one person, Queen Vashti, doesn’t like it. The story begins with the downfall of this queen, but also shows us the sinfulness of sin and the utter folly of sin. Who is your King?

An oldie from Esther 1 from the sermon series on Esther.  Recent sermons are also available on iTunes – search for Mission Presbyterian Church.
