Divine Soul Music for the Easter Season

celtic-cross-color.jpgAt Mission PC, we’ve been going through the Psalms, seeing them as songs for and from our hearts and souls, given to us by God.  In other words, divine soul music.

As we approach Easter Sunday when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the grave, conquering sin and death for all His people, we’re going to look at some of the psalms that speak to Christ’s great work for sinners:

  • Psalm 23 on March 13th, the beloved psalm praising the Lord our Shepherd
  • Psalm 24 on March 20th, Palm Sunday, which calls for the King of Glory to be allowed to enter in
  • Psalm 22 on March 27th, Resurrection Sunday, where we’ll see how our salvation was accomplished for us

Join us on Friday evening, March 25th, for a simple time of singing, reading the Passion narrative from Scripture, and a short message on the “seven last words” of Jesus on the cross.
