Praiseworthy Things

Bad news, broken relationships, temptation, the world “going to hell in a handbasket” – various things that bring us down, can cause us to despair.  The Holy Spirit has an antidote – actually a command: “Think about these things.”  What things?  Whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable.  Anything that is excellent or praiseworthy.  Think on these things.  Consider them.  Ponder them.  Turn your attention to them.  This is a command – not an option.  And it comes with a promise: “the God of peace will be with you.”

  1. I’m not sure why but this weblog is loading incredibly slow for me.
Is anyone else having this problem or is
it a issue on my end? I’ll check back later and
see if the problem still exists.
