Latest Sermon: A House for My Name

Please visit our page on SermonAudio to listen to today’s sermon from 2 Samuel 7:1-17. King David, at rest from his enemies and living in a cedar lined house, wants to build God a house to live in, instead of a tent. Men make plans, but it is the purposes of the Lord that stand. And so here, too. Instead, God tells David that He will build David a house, give him a son to sit on his throne and rule his kingdom forever. Moreover, the Lord will also bless His people, giving them rest and peace as well.
