Two Sundays ago I interrupted the current sermons series – see below – to preach a sermon in which I tried to address the horrific murders at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, CT. Words can hardly do justice. Human words. But God’s Word is apt for all kinds of life events. It is my hope that my own inadequate words will point you to precious truth in God’s Word, bringing some degree of comfort in the aftermath of the brutal attack. From December 16, 2012, The Slaughter of the Defenseless.
And here is the sermon from Sunday, December 9, part of our current series, The Fullness of Salvation:
May God’s Word be a blessing to you!
